Self-Massage Natural Treatment for IBS, Colitis, Crohn’s & Inflammatory Bowel Conditions

I no longer have colitis.  Abdominal self massage as taught to me by Master Jou Tsung Hwa (tai chi master teacher), and tai chi, along with simplifying my diet CURED me of this painful condition.  While I am making a full, in-depth video (available for sale soon) about how to use self-massage and special acupoints from Chinese medicine to treat yourself for these conditions, I quickly share the basics of a “maintenance” massage that I use every day.  See the video clip below.

I can eat everything now, and NEVER suffer the symptoms I had a long time ago.  I use no medication and avoided surgery.  This took time, but it gave me my life back.

It is my hope that this can help a lot of people.  I really feel badly for people who suffer with this, because I know the pain and depression it creates.  But hang in there and have hope.  Just take very good care of yourself. Be strong and break bad habits.  Find ways to release stress and depression too.  But honestly, give this technique I share in the vid clip a chance…

Sadly, it’s so simple what I show you in this video clip, that most people won’t stick with it to give it a chance.  It takes AT LEAST a month of doing this every morning and night, and it’s only a few minutes a day.  Kinda like the amount of effort you need to brush your teeth regularly.  So, if you can’t even give it that amount of effort, no one and nothing will probably help you.  Just DO it, and judge for yourself.  It won’t cost you a penny and there are no side effects.  Isn’t that at least worth a try?

NOTE:  The video is for educational purposes and no medical claims are made, no medical advice is given.

If this helped/helps you, please comment below, and feel free to pass it on to help others.

I’m very interested in your massage for abdominal massage for ibd/crohn’s, etc. Your short video is GREAT, the clearest demo & most sensible advice I’ve found after a LOT of looking. I’ve had “spastic colitis” (ibd) most of my life (I’m 66 now). I only recently began to really comprehend the value of daily qigong practice for this & other chronic problems (T2 diabetes, arthritis, etc). I also found relief with an approximation of the ab massage in your short video but from other, less complete descriptions. Your vid confirmed my instincts to stop drinking cold drinks (I’d given up most fizzy drinks over a year ago & a week or so ago got it that warm water felt much better on my poor innards than cold). It also confirmed my feeling that this massage needed to have that nien pressure, not just the superficial surface rub, & that my urge to rock my hands over the are was correct.
I’m a VA native now permanently based in Australia. It would be better for me & other Aussie folks if you can have a version of your video made in Region 4-playable (region-free would be best so anyone can play it, I think, I’m no expert!), PAL format because we can’t play NTSC here on DVD players, though my hub says we might be able to through our computers.
I started this @ 6:30 am; I’ve got ginger in the house & can’t wait to start adding more to my diet (we eat a lot of Indian home cooking, esp in winter, as it is down here now but not frequently enough for this purpose). I don’t eat much wheat but it’s now totally off my menu; I’m an abstinant popcorn freak & this inspires me to persevere with avoiding it. Thank you SO much for the short vid. Please let me know as soon as the full one is ready. All the best to you & your teacher. Carla PS sorry I didn’t catch your name on the clip…)

Oopsy! I was so excited about your ab massage video that when I wrote the above, I hadn’t yet read anything else on the internalgardens site, and from my chronological position, you seem so young, so I didn’t realize that YOU are Sifu Loretta! Thanks so much, that massage is brilliant, but you already know that!
I got a lot out of the blog on protecting the knees, too, but now wonder if there’s anything to help people, like me, who’ve already had a half-knee replacement or other knee surgery. I’ve held back from restarting my tai chi practice because of having had this procedure, but would love to be able to get back into it. Qigong is doing wonders meanwhile, so if I can’t it’s not the end of the world. But still…

I enjoyed this video. Especially that it was made by someone that actual has personal experience with the issue. I noticed the date on this post is 2012. Is the in depth video mention in this one been filmed? If so, is it available here for viewing or purchase?

I am so very interested in your video. I would love to incorporate your technique and information into my practice. I have been doing abdominak massage for several years, but I want to incorporate more principals from Chinese and ayurveda medicine.
Please keep me posted on the release of your video and any future trainings you may offer.

I am very interested in your abdominal massage video. I have diverticulosis and suffer from attacks several times each year, to the point that the doctor us saying I may need to have surgery to remove part of my colon. Yikes! That is not something I want. Please let me know when your video is released. Also, thanks for the tip about iced drinks and the benefits of ginger.

I would like your detailed video on self massage. I’ve been struggling with IBSC for over 8 years and ha e spent hundreds maybe even a few thousand $’s searching for cures. I am now seeing a Chinese herbalist/acupressure but she’s very expensive. I’m also struggling financially since my husband died recently. I do yoga but if you think QiGong is more effective for IBS I Wi will sign up with an experienced instructor here
I’m also interested in the reflexology & anything that doesn’t
    Require medication or expensive herbs!.
    Thanks! Barb
